Collection: Peter Adams

Peter Adams is a Canadian artist whose work explores the concept of landscape, where people seek beauty and renewal, blending realism and abstraction to capture nature's emotional essence. His compositions feature structured frameworks with expressive, gestural marks, conveying calm amid chaos. Originally from Glasgow and raised in Toronto, Adams has lived in Simcoe County for 25 years, currently residing in Collingwood. He has received numerous Ontario Arts Council grants, was a finalist for the Salt Spring National Art Prize in 2015 and 2023, and has participated in renowned programs such as Brazil's Labverde and The Arctic Circle residency.
